Third Eye Blind brought their energy to the Foxwoods Grand Theater and did not disappoint. After doing a show in California the night before singer/guitarist Stephan Jenkins, guitarist Kryz Reid, drummer Brad Hargreaves, keyboardist Alex Kopp and bassist Alex LeCavalier hopped on a plane to Foxwoods.
The Brooklyn N.Y based band Spirit Animal opened the show and had quite a few fans of their own on hand. Singer Steve Cooper, bassist Paul Michel, guitarist Cal Stamp and drummer Ronen Evron did a great job with their blend of high energy rock/funk and the crowd was very into it.
Third Eye Blind came out on fire right from the start with the song "Graduate" off their self titled debut album. The album had five singles: Semi Charmed Life, Graduate, How's it going to Be, Loosing a Whole Year and Jumper all which were played as well as songs from their catalogue which spans over twenty years.
Jenkins commented several times through out the night that were weren't really on tour and playing shows like this was a lot of fun which was met with a rousing ovation from the crowd.
He also hinted a few times that they were currently working on a new album which the crowd also cheered, so keep an eye out for that!
